The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Akhil Bhāratīya Kāryakārī Maṇḍal will meet in Indore with Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale and functionaries from every prant. The agenda includes a review of the centenary-year programme, the protests under way in the country, content on new media, drug abuse, what the Sangh calls "interference by external forces", and global geopolitics.
Key data
46 prants and 11 regions will be represented over 3 days.
Why it matters
The meeting follows Bhagwat's Vijayadaśamī address warning against "regime-change" politics. Resolutions passed here usually set the Sangh's public line for the months ahead.
GK: did you know?
Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar founded the RSS in Nagpur on Vijayadaśamī in 1925.
